Each year we see the regular competitors kick butt and some up and comers join the party.
From any discipline, who has been the stand out riders for you this year?
In the gravity world, Martin Maes kicked a couple of big goals!

Calling 2019...Sam will win 3rd EWS title, top 10 in a couple of DH races, and another top 10 in state DH rounds this year.

Also, Borat did OK this year for a roughie.

I agree Sam is No.1, but its only his second EWS title. How someone can come along, give EWS a go, proceed to win the World Championship on first attempt - then back it up next year, blows my mind.

EDIT - just re-read Moorey, you are predicting, my bad....

He’s prolly my pick for this year also, TBH.

Last year also, given the virgin EWS title, and just missing podium at world champs on an Enduro bike.

I’m not being a tragic fanboy....but he’s pretty dreamy.

Agree, it's gotta be Maes. Nearly took EWS overall, won Whistler, then backed it up in La Bresse the following week. Oh and then got 2nd in a little thing called World Champs.
