Need some oppinions!, I have Mavic 721 rims with a Diamond back hub, My freewheel keeps slipping and no one can find a replacement, so the Hub will have to be replaced, i got a quote for around $280 for a new hub fitted,
Or would it better to buy a whole new wheel Set, I can get DMR Comp front and rear for $270 delivered of the Net, but i am unsure if these wheels are any good,
here are the specs
DMR Comp Rear Wheel 26"
• Weight - 1510g
Hub Features:
• 10mm Quick release
• 6 Bolt Disc
• 36 Hole Hub
• Cup and Cone Bearings
Rim Features:
• 32mm wide, these rims are big & stable even with the biggest of tyres
• Double wall section & single eyeleted for incredible strength
• The rim has a D section giving it good radial strength for dirt jumping, BSX, street riding and free ride applications
• Light in weight and super strong
