What Strava Seg would you love to hold ?

At the Youies Cressy Descent seems to be the Strava Seg that has the most cred coz both DH and XC riders are about even on it and it gets by far the most runs a weekend (average 600 runs a day in summer), the roadies in Melb seem to all test themselves on the 1 in 20 in the Dandies, but if you could choose to train for one seg and hold it ,what would it be.
I'd go for Stonefly at Mt Stirling ,Buller. Despite it not being ridden as much as tracks closer to the city, it is just the Iconic Strava Segment that test all your climbing and descending skills and fitness, has a certain romance as it's ' in the high country, almost on the edge of the wilderness, and is a long enough length to have Cred.

Tomorrow, I am going to plot out a course around the city in the shape of a giant dick.
I am gonna create a strava segment called 'Eat a dick Moorey', and I will hold that KOM like a boss.

Seriously though, I would love to have the KOM on Mt Wellington. Currently held by Nathan Earle. Like a boss.

I reckon a nice climb like Lake Mountain or from the bottom of the Adelaide hills up to Eagle on the Hill would be a nice trophy to hold... but fat chance of ever having that level of fitness and strength ;)

Alternatively, this one:

Best I've done (which I don't have any data to prove) is low 17s.

That would have been around 08/09, when I had good fitness, before I got sick. I've never been close since.

A lot of the "segments" in Adelaide aren't as hotly contested as elsewhere cause we have so many riding options

This is my fave....

Cannot be chased at the moment cause the mossy clay is as slippery as a KY covered mirror

40 riders ? My god, not exactly hotly contested, though I know a couple of the names there at 10 or so, and they can ride with a bit of anger, so........

It does need to be a contested KOM I reckon, so my 2 locals are
http://www.strava.com/segments/2489645
Which is just a test of fitness climbing a hill in 3 minutes
And,
http://www.strava.com/segments/769613
Which with some effort I might actually have a chance at the KOM for. No chance at all on the climb above - way too old for that.

So I like the idea of a KOM that is only yours because you know it well enough to be able to be faster than anyone else, not because your heart pumps blood around better than anyone else.

Marty Strozik needs to get off his fat bike and have more of a crack at Glenrock!

No-one WANTS to ride up heyward... that is the problem

Lol, now that would be demoralizing - losing a KOM to a fat bike

Marty is off secretly building a private loop I hear....

Small world though, got a lot of time for Marty after bumping into him at the bottom of the nastiest longest fire trail climb in Newcastle .

Boulder track at youies, however when I do get a good run, my strava doesn't pick that segment up it put me on another segment, does anybody know why that happens?
