Picked up the frame from a racer in Launceston who turns over her bike every 18 months or so. It's taken me and a couple of riding friends about five years to get her onto a dual suspension bike. She said it had to be light weight. Well. I suppose they are made lighter but she love this one.
A few parts off her Exceed; brakes, grips, saddle, cranks and wheels. Frame came with shock, headset, rear axle, BB, seat post and fork. Which is new as well. The rest is new. I confess I had the shop attach the Twinloc thingy as my Homer Simpson fingers and brain had had enough of the internal cabling
She has had 3 rides in the last 4 days. 20 kms and 785 meters of climbing Saturday, 28 kms and 1035 meters of climbing Sunday. All on and around Mt Wellington.
Today with a few friend on the Plenty Puzzle between New Norfolk and the hills above Judbury. 65 KMS and 1570 meters of climbing. She thoroughly approves of
the bike .
