Its the only place to put it...as long as you are happy putting a bottle there, then all good.

I assume that the shock position precludes mounting in the front triangle. What Orange is it?Its the only place to put it...
I have a zefal that hasn't let go yet. Although a small bottle is almost cheating.Spesh Zee cages are pretty sturdy

sorry Haakers, I really didn't read your post properly in the first place as to what you wanted (a burly bottle cage mounted where orange put the bolt holes), and decided to reject your reality and substitute it with my own.Its the only place to put it...
Reality is highly over rated. I'm not a fan.sorry Haakers, I really didn't read your post properly in the first place as to what you wanted (a burly bottle cage mounted where orange put the bolt holes), and decided to reject your reality and substitute it with my own.
A good looking Orange bike there.
If it's only a reserve tank ro supplement the camel bag I'd just go with any old cage and tie a shoelace or something similar around the bottle neck and frame to stop it bouncing out. When the bag gets low, decant the bottle into the bag, tie back in place and ride on.Jesus - is that a camelbak bum bag….? Hard pass…
I use a normal camelbak, this is just for spare water on longer rides and some downtube protection
Good plan, Duck.If it's only a reserve tank ro supplement the camel bag I'd just go with any old cage and tie a shoelace or something similar around the bottle neck and frame to stop it bouncing out. When the bag gets low, decant the bottle into the bag, tie back in place and ride on.
Since when did we apply logic and financial restraint around here...??If it's only a reserve tank ro supplement the camel bag I'd just go with any old cage and tie a shoelace or something similar around the bottle neck and frame to stop it bouncing out.
