Urgent! Need help/advice on my cranks

Gday.
Im in need of some urgent advice, the cranks on my stp are rooted, the splines have worn too much.
The bolt is that tight i cant undo it with a 18v Snap on rattle gun. Yet the cranks are still loose?
Whats easiest way out of my situation? i am willing to spend some money on it (new cranks, bottom bracket if needed)
What have people fitted to there stp? im trying to stay away from the bmx look,
Please Help! i need to get it fixed ASAP

Say goodbye to the cranks, than hit em with the angle grinder. If you're careful you'll save the bb, but chances are that it's spline is just as rooted as the crank.

I have the same issue with a set of Truvativ cranks. I'm up for new cranks too.

cheers for that, i already considerd the grinder, but thought id see what people reckon first, any ideas what to replace them with? what about just drilling the bolt out?

Pics? What cranks are you using? Is there a bolt or something else as the preload in the end?

Have you backed off the 2 securing bolts

these are my cranks, they dont have any other bolts, i have taken them off many times before.

Try heat. This will expand the metal and may help un doing the bolt. You can use map gas or an oxyacetylene.
Otherwise the grinder and hammer.
