Here's one to think about, if money was not an issue, what would be the ultimate road bike?
You never know, your lucky numbers may just come up one day.

either a:
colnago EPS, with super record, bora ultra 2s, deda bits, slr, ti bolts, corsa evo cxs.

or an IF ti crown jewel/XS with the above build.

Ive actually got my dream bikes, a Giant Defy advanced, new ultegra so no messy cables and works flawlessly, compact crank and large spread of gears so i can ride anywhere, 25m tyres to take some of the pain out of our shitty roads, relaxed geo for comfort and stability, quite a light bike and i personally think it looks the goods. Also with bonus lifetime frame warranty and excellent local dealer/service. Just makes me want to ride it everyday.

Mabye its the Zoloft talking........

I'd love the Baum Coretto that was in Ride magazine a few issues ago. To quote Wayne's World "Oh yes, she will be mine".

I had the pleasure of meeting Darren at the Melbourne Track World Cup, I've already told him I'll be back for a road bike and a SS 29er. Just need a few years to save.

I can't go past a S-Works Tarmac SL3 Superlight as a no holds barred rig, you have to experience a 5.8kg bike, which is still stiff, responsive and handles well, to understand.

However a Roubaix Pro (I like the paint more than the S-Works Roubaix SL2) with Di2 would be a far more sensible all rounder.

I certainly don't think it's the best looking bike, and I reckon there'd be a few bikes out there that would be just as, if not better, than it. But I'd choose an S3.

All fabulous bikes! Gotta appreciate a persons personal view of cycle porn!

My ideal would be a Parlee Z5 with SRAM Red groupo, Edge rims laced to Chris King 45 hubs, Thomson post and stem, Deda Zero100 bar, Prologo scratch saddle and Speedplay pedals! Glorious!

Light, stiff and well crafted! However if someone handed me any of the afore mentioned steeds, i'd have to say.... giddy up!

I worked briefly on a Dogma, and had a good look at another, and they are a little disappointing.

I'm going to have to go a Parlee. Erik up at CnC built a couple up and they are fantastic. I like my BMCs though. His Parlee with LEWs, M2 pedals, Tune cranks, Scapula, Extralite, AX, etc. etc. Is amazing though. Just a beautiful machine.
