Tyre Size to rim size importance

Ive picked up a 2010 trance x1 and I am loving it
Tyres were a bit worn so went for some 2.35 high rollers
Previous tyres were 2.1s and the new ones just dont seem to sit right
Rim looks too small and is making me uneasy unless proven otherwise
comments/thoughts?

Should be M788s, that's what's on my Trance of the same year.

No problem, I ran 2.35 High Rollers up at Thredbo at the Roller Coaster last month, they worked a treat.

My bad
Well there are no markings on the rim
But hubs are m778 and m775

so i am assuming they are the m778 and m775 wheelsets

forgive my ignorance, they are tubeless rims
im assuming this will be an issue for larger tyres????

No, we run 2.5 tubeless on the downhill bikes. Different rim though.

Like I said, your rim will work fine with 2.35 high rollers. You can run them either with tubes, which is what I have done, or with Stans sealant.
