TWP will be running a Summer 3 race Downhill Series at a fantastic new venue we have on private property at Canungra.
This venue is on PRIVATE PROPERTY and a working cattle property. We have permission for the landowner to use in on Official Race Days only. Any unauthorized use of this land will result in loss of the use of the venue. YOU CANNOT GO THERE OTHER THAN OFFICIAL RACE DAYS. We will be able to build several courses.

Location – Beaudesert-Nerang Rd (same road as the Mundoolan Rd), Benobble, Canungra (mud map on website) Location will be signed so you can find it easily.
Registration – Open 7-30am
Practice – 8am (once you have registered & received your race number)
Practice Finished – 11-30am last shuttle
Course Closed 12-1pm
Racing – After Lunch break – 1pm
No-One is allowed on the course during lunch break when all Officials, marshals, First Aid, transport drivers have their lunch break.
Entry Fee – Elite $55-00
All other classes’ $50-00
u/15, u/17yrs $40-00
MTBA License – All riders must have an MTBA License or receipt or purchase a Day Membership @ $15-00 on top of their entry fee.
You must bring your license or receipt. If you do not bring it you will have to pay for a Day Membership. If you Club has not given you a receipt contact the Club Secretary/Treasurer and get one before this meeting.
NUMBER DEPOSIT – EVERY RIDER NEEDS TO BRING A $10 NOTE FOR NUMBER DEPOSIT. THIS WILL BE REFUNDED UPON RETURN ON NUMBER. BENT, CUT OR DAMAGED NUMBERS WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND
AGE AS AT 31ST DECEMBER 2006 (this series runs as the new 2006 Season) same as MTBA National Series
SERIES POINTS – will be accumulated through all 3 rounds. If you change classes your points don’t go with you. Point system same as run for the National Series & Sunshine Series
DOWNHILL TRANSPORT
Downhill transport is included in your entry fee. Downhill transport is expensive and hard to arrange so we have enough transport we need everyone to pre-enter. We can only arrange transport for the number of riders we have entered e.g. we don’t want to arrange transport for 80 riders entered when we end up with 150 riders on the day. We want to make sure we have enough transport and everyone gets enough runs. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PRE-ENTER. It’s for everyone’s benefit to pre-enter and help us put a better downhill event on for you.
FOOD & DRINK
Beaudesert Scouts will be looking after the catering for us and all money raised goes to the Beaudesert Scouts. They always put on a fantastic feed.
Hot food & cold drinks available.
CAMPING
THERE IS NO CAMPING ON THE PROPERTY. -5 minutes down the road there is camping available at the Canungra Showground’s in Coburg Rd, Canungra
