Trek 1500 SLR? is it, what is it?

Well this is my road bike and i would like to know how much its worth. As i am going to sell it.

I dont know much about bikes so sorry if any of this sounds funny.

Carbon forks.
Shimano 105 group set, and i have a brand new group set still in box.
The rest i would like you to tell me what it is all worth and what it is as well please :)

I would really appreciate all your help.

Check on ebay

Take a quick look at ebay ... type trek into the search bar, there are at least 2 / 3 bikes around the same age / spec etc (2005 / 2006, 105 spec etc).

You'll probably get up to $500 pending on how well its been cared for over the years and obviously how much a buyer is willing to pay for it.

For what it's worth, just a couple of weeks ago I just bought a 2005 Trek 1500 almost identical to yours, used for $500. I felt that was a fair price, though wouldn't have wanted to pay anything much more.

Its frame was in perfect condition (Team Discovery paint job; a cut and polish, and it looks brand new now), and the groupset was in great nick - though its wheels (a) weren't as good as the Ksyriums on your bike, and (b) had bearings that were a bit rough.
