to SLX or not SLX?

Due to wear and tear, i'm about to replace the SLX cranks on my Marin.
Chainreaction has SLX cranks at a great price at the minute, and it is tempting to just get another set in the 2 ring configuration.

So. Should i just get SLX again, or maybe look at some of the alternitive brands?

Currently i run 1x9 with a Surly 34t ring and an MRP guide and no bash. (is an XC/Trail bike)

SLX are pretty damn good at the moment. The 2010 (I think) were stiffer than XT cranks and the arms also weighed less, however XT chainrings still made XT a lighter crankset.

Have just upgraded to the SLX double cranks. Great crankset. And you can get it pretty cheap on CRC ATM.

Just got a set of the double ring SLX for my DJ bike (running it SS though).
$120 brand new with BB off CRC, can't fault em, glad I ended up getting them.

I've got SLX cranks on both my bikes at the moment and have no issues with them! Great value for money! For me the main motivating factor (*cough* CRC sale) is that I got a free pair of cranks with new chainrings for an extra $30 bucks.
