Picked up a new Norco Search XR S1 today, pretty happy with it, think it has at least 500gm off the S2. Also got another $120 off final price. Big ups to 99Bikes at Mitchell, pretty helpful guys.

Think I will need a shorter stem though. I feel like I'm leaning too far forward and the neck will get a little sore the longer I ride. Need to be a touch more upright in the saddle.

Had these as commuting tyres for the last decade. Worn through two sets in that time and covered over 25k km. Great tyres.
I had to swap mine out for the exact same reason. Pity cos the stock painted stem looks mint.
Also had to put a non offset post and swap the stock saddle out.

You have an offset post? I thought they all came with a straight post, mine does. The 2021 model looks to have an offset dealio though.
I got mine peak covid. Seems to have been a few spec substitutions/changes over the last 2 years. Different WTB tyres etc.
Yeah, the blokes at 99Bikes were interested to see what mine actually came with.

There's many brands of stems that I'm unfamiliar with (BBB, Pro, Zipp, Deda, Vision, etc.). A couple that I'm looking at are:
