As a card carrying Clyde 1.93m / 100kgs I find XL sized bikes are generally a joke. Seldom do the brands get fit, geo and spec right.

I like them because of that but I ride one because their XL actually fits and feels right for a unit like myself.

Depends on your choice of frame makers maybe? As a habitual purchaser of Giants, their good QC and zero personal problems with press fit has left me happy enough with it.

Rapid rise FWIW, bought into that white elephant, took me 6 months of shit shifting to get back out of it. Usually a full handful shift in the worst direction at the worst time.

Clicked the little shifter to get to the biggest cog. Sprung in the opposite direction.

Push harder, click easier... made sense for 6 months till I realised it was a 1 off run, back in the days of 9spd. Shimano brought it in and immediately discontinued it.
