hey all,

just wondering weather anyone knows anything about the farm jam in new zealand.
the main part i want to know is aproximatly what the prize money will be. in other words, weather its worth all that money to travel over there. any help from people who went to it last year would be awesome.

Considering there's virtually NOTHING that happens here in Aus, my advice would be to go and do it if you can justify wearing the expense. Great experience, great for getting yourself out there, and a great way to promote the products that are supporting you. Consider it an investment in yourself. Do you think any of the guys (privateers) who go and race DH in the US or Europe do so with the $$$ in their eyes? No. Same applies.

If you're deliberating going over there and are worried about the dollars and cents side of things, put together a proposal with a letter of backing from the Aus distributor for Dartmoor and email it through to Dartmoor HQ in Europe- better still get the Aus distributor to email it through. See whether they're happy to help subsidise part of your trip over the pond- in the interest of brand exposure. You never know, if your proposal is attractive enough then you might just get a helping hand.

Given the event, obviously a BIG chunk of the prize money will go to the FMX guys, but with that said you can be sure that what money is on offer for the bike riders will be more than anything on offer here.

Get on it ASAP as the event is only a month away.
