The track itself is pretty chopped up and the bottom was a bit boggy when I was there a couple of weeks ago. I imagine little has changed.
yep thats pretty much how i found it.. looks like theres some building going on out there too..

Anyone know how wet/sticky Beerburrum is at the moment? Guessing theres been alot of rain up there in the last few weeks..
i was there yesterday, was pretty good only slippery part was coming accross the fire road at the bottom after landing from the small stepdown. was my first time there and looks like building was in progress, its just the last 200 odd meters of the track that was a mud pit.

Ok here is a rough go....
master class- 40 plus, some pretty quick old dudes though like Stu Norman and Reidy (smoked Ham)
expert class - The step down from elite, some very solid riders, usually the top guys would quali in elite.
vet class - 30 to 40 - A big range of guys ranging from ex elites that are still quick to guys just checking it out. Rumours of Blacky racing this year and he is still a top ten elite. Seems to vary from year to year depending of who is getting injured or having kids etc
sport class - the beginner class but they all have hot bikes these days! Still some solid riders here and there who need to ride expert.

Thanks for that......another question is im thinking of entering but im not a strong doubles jumper or should i not bother racing. My main goal to ride(race) other tracks and try to grow as a rider .Im not interested in where i place in the race ladder since "open days" seem to be a thing of the past this seems like a good alternate avenue....
thoughts and opinions?

Enter and go for it mate. The tracks are awesome and its not all about do or die. There's nothing on our courses that will kill you, and there's always alternative lines.

have a go at the racing mate do it just for fun to start, and to be honest unless your a reall steady top 10 rider and chasing the hundredth of a second margin, none of the b lines on the majority of the sunshine series courses except maybe beerburrum in the rocks, will really slow you down or make you drop any more than 1 maybe 2 seconds.

go for it have fun, race where you feel comfortable.

i'm assuming if i entered for 3 weeks ago my entry for both days is still active for this weekend?
Anyone who has entered for the postponed event is entered in the new date unless you advised us that you would like a refund. This includes practice.

For the Saturday practise do we just rock up before 10 and get checked off to make sure we've payed and then just hop on shuttles until they stop around 4?

Not this year Bin Dog! Actually, i may still get to a couple of races but not doing the full series this year. You will have to be content with taking down Toodles!

Hi just after an update for the weekend race...

Just after an indication of potential plans in case of rain.
