sick stumpy, are you happy with it's ride?
Yeah, couldn't be happier. Rode a mates Small frame alloy on a DH trail and it was just pure awesome.
These are such capable bikes. So decided to go all out and go carbon.
Also as I'm planning a trip to NZ at the end of the year I wanted a bike that could do anything and this certainly does that.

Little bit of an update on the bike, its been a while.

Specialized Command Post swapped out for an KS Lev Integra, prefer internally routed and much smother action.

Brakes have been upgrade from Avid Elixer 5 RSL (These we always going to be upgraded) to Shimano XT with Ice tech rotors.

Drive train has been changed from SRAM X9 - 2 x 10 to Shimano XTR I-Spec Shifter to XTR Clutched Mid Cage derailleur running a 1x10 with 34t Wolftooth Chainring up the front. Wolftooth chainring is faultless so far, rode Ourimbah, Manly Dam, Lake Parramatta and Westleigh and it hasn't dropped off yet. When it does I might ad a lightweight top guide, or if I take this to Threadbo.

Really happy with the bike and amazed at how well this thing goes both up and down. Think a big part of that is due to the dropper post giving me a correct seat height.

Yeah I had the 125mm which struggles to fit in medium frame unless you have long legs/ lots of exposed seatpost.

Same way you would normally route one I guess, it basically going in the normal point then exits near the shock, I then feed it back through the same hole it exited at the shock feeding it back to the head tube the down the downtube and round the BB and up the seat post. Plenty of threads on the net about guys doing it with Reverbs, but I don't like hydraulic things if I can avoid them.

Lev is better in the seat post action, as in return speed is more tune able and reliable. Infinite travel
is good and bad depends how you look at it but I prefer it.

In race trim, may drop the dropper post, and put the 90mm stem on it. As well maybe some small block 8s, depend if we have a 4 or 6 man team lol

What are you riding in the mont chops?
will ride the SB... but hopefully make the race abit easier with a lighter tyre combo (F-Nobby Nic / R- Thunder Burt)
