Hey guys, looking to get a new set of brakes for the downhill bike and saw the guides at a great price on CRC just now and in stock, which I've heard is a rare occurrence.
I realise that the brakes are aimed more for trail riders but I've seen plenty of world cup bikes sporting the Guides. Also I'm not particularly heavy (70kg) and have been riding with elixir CRs but felt it was time for four pistons.
What do you reckon? Also am i better off saving my pennies and going for the Guide R, which is the budget one with reach adjust only, or spending 50 bucks more per end for the top range RSCs, considering that I'm not really interested in all the adjustments, just want the best performing brake.
