Yeah, so i f*cked my forks by being an idiot in the skatepark.. New lowers are $220-ish, coming soon.
There isn't a mark on them from the crash - it was a twisting motion that snapped the arch. i landed on the handlebars and the wheel and handlebars tried to squash flat ont he ground, wrenching the forks, causing the snap.
funnily enough, the prize goes to no one, since no one noticed that there were two more tassles visible on the couch rug in the right hand photo. fail!
*edit - oh, and yes i still trust manitou forks. i came down pretty hard on them, i doubt most forks similar to these would have survived either.
