I have xt and xtr, xtr is a lot lighter to shift. Both are sensitive to b screw adjustment.

Can't do much about the b screw it is as close as I can get it before it fouls on shifting on biggest cog. Running 46t as largest, missus won't go any smaller.

Reckon the less complicated mechanism (no double upshift) must be the reason. Still does double/triple downshift and that's all that the missus wants.

Excellent, glad it's solved the problem. And seems to have got there in good time
SLX 11 does have a very nice feel, just a shame about the double shift.

I'm not, she is, and now I have a spare XT 11sp shifter to go with my spare 11sp derailleur.
Sounds like the beginnings of a new bike!
