Its a good start that the NSW government at least have this on their radar and looking to fund 'sustainable mountain bike trails'.

Will be interested to hear / see the course of action from here. They are asking for public submissions from today.

Nice. Would fully expect IMBA and MTBA to put in submissions. I'd strongly recommend everyone petition their own local clubs to put in a submission as well.

This is the discussion paper mentioned in the SMH newspaper article. The more comments / feedback the NSW government receive the better our chances of gaining singletrack access in national / state parks....

Guys it is up to US, every mountain biker on this forum and in Australia to read the discussion paper (or if you are like me get some one to read it to you) and write or dictate a submission telling these guys to turn over all National Parks to mountain bikers! Well at least make a few more trails available.
This needs to be done so mountainbikers become a bargaining collective.
