Item: Bianchi Super Pista Track Fixie 57cm.
Location: Sydney, North Shore.
Item Condition: Excellent.
Reason for selling: I never ride it. Collecting dust and need to pay for repairs to the car so very regretfully must go.
Price and price conditions: $950 SOLD
Extra Info:

This is a GENUINE Bianchi Super Pista 57cm.

I imported this frame set from the US as it isn't available in Australia. So what we have here is a VERY unique track bike for Australia. If you're looking for a head-turner, here it is. And in superb condition too.
Only a very small handful of minor scratches/marks from being in storage. Small rip on bar tape, but cheap and easy fix if you're truly fussed.
Both wheels are dead true, strong, reliable, have fantastic bearings and look unique. Both nutted.
All bearings are perfect. Carbon is in good condition. Frame has no dents/cracks/etc, has never been raced/exposed to crazy riding or weather. It has spent most of it's time posing at cafés.
I have all receipts/proof of purchase. I've done the hard work importing and building it up for you, so this here is a hands down bargain. Still heaps of potential to modify/personalise if that's your game, otherwise it's all there and ready to ride. Perfect to use for track racing or training, or use as a great all-rounder.
Everything on this bike is new or close to new. Everything runs perfectly with zero hidden surprises.

You can run a brake, and if you want, a freewheel on the flip/flop hub if you prefer drinking coffee and wearing tight jeans in Newtown. I can find one and install it for you if you if you're mechanically inept. (Minor price adjustment).

Frame: Size 57cm (large), aluminium, colour - celeste with black writing. 1 1/8" head tube, horizontal dropouts. 7005 Aluminium. Double butted. Smoothed welds.
Fork: Matching Bianchi Super Pista carbon forks, factory drilled brake mounts. 1 1/8" aluminium steerer tube with heaps of length running a full stack of spacers plus stem.
Headset: Sealed bearing 1 1/8" with aluminium spacers.
Stem: Aluminium "X-Mission" stem. 1 1/8" for oversized bars. Length is about 115mm.
Bars: ProLite Black tripple butted aluminium track bars - not road. Standard oversized clamp. Stiff, light, strong.
Bar tape: Token cork with Fizik bar ends.
Cranks: Token Track Aluminium. 49T, 144BCD
Bottom Bracket: Token sealed bearing external.
Seat Post: 27.2 Token full Carbon. Twin rail. Full length - uncut.
Saddle: Standard Velo, twin rail.
Front Wheel: Token Track. Sealed Bearings. Bladed spokes. Anodised aluminium black nipples. Machined braking surface.
Rear Wheel: Hand laced by experienced bicycle mechanic. Mint. GT flip/flop hub running aftermarket sealed Japanese Bearings. DT Swiss Spokes, Brass nipples except for 4 which are gold anodised aluminium. The Rim is some kind of basic, strong, aero velocity style rim.
Cog: Token 17t CNC 70756 Aluminium with steel lock ring.
Chain: Red Devil Track. Probably the most overpriced single speed chain I could have bought. It's basically a totally porn KMC.
Tyres: Rear is a Maxxis Re-fuse. I just ran crappers from work for fun to skid through. Front is a Vittoria Rubino Pro folding or something similar. They both have plenty of wear left in them.
Tubes: Rear has an 80mm valve for extra cool points. Both French/Presta valves. No patches. I believe the rubber is black and you pump them with a pump. They are round.

Got any more questions? PM me.

Pictures: Sure! Want more? Ask. NB: The bike is very dusty in photos as I'm lazy, but will wipe down nicely and will present close to new.

Below is a link to the same model frame set available on eBay which somebody else is selling. This was the cheapest one available online. After freight, you're looking at $1206.51 and that's before eBay fees, messing around with international freight and possibly tax?

Remember, that's what they're asking just for the frame set. Not a complete build. Food for thought...

I'll give it a few more days and then it's going up on eBay/Bike Exchange etc...

This bike is nothing short of superb.

Unfortunately it isn't the same frame set. The one in my display photo is a pista concept - the same line of frames, only an earlier year model. A few changes have been made over the years which can be compared here:

I'm willing to rub the bike against my nude body as a compromise - for only a small fee ;)
