I’m new, but also very secondhand.
I know a little about a lot of things.
I know a lot about a few things.
I’m a Prisoner of Her Majesty.
Lived in London, New York and Melbourne.,
I saw the WTC collapse in 2001 with my own eyes.
Titanium, Steel, Scandium…in that order.
I’m a bike mechanic.
Disc brakes on road bikes are dumb.
Mountain bikers are the best.
I don’t care what your training/diet/V02 data looks like.
I love everything Thomson make.
I don’t want to be your friend on Strava.
I can vouch for Moorey.
I am ‘all show’ and ‘no go’
Ask me a question. You’ll get an honest answer.
If I don’t have an answer, I’ll tell you.
I’m not interested in EGO…only GEO!
The world is a better place for bikes.
London Grammar are superb.
There’s a reason no one else in the world plays AFL.
And it’s not because it’s “too tough”.
Carbon cranks are inferior…ask Shimano.
Too many BB and HS configurations.
Three cross every time!
You don’t need Ceramic Speed stuff…really, you don’t!
I support Arsenal.

Only ever bought one. Was the only 27.2 that did 5” drop at the time. Had it 5-6 years. Never need serviced. Never skipped a beat. Felix stacked and snapped the lever when about 4yo. Thomson sent replacement parts free.
Hard to argue with that reliability and support.

white socks?!?!?!? who the fark wears white socks trail riding. Black, Grey or GTFO.
The short shorts and the fringed riding top may be a nod to that NSFW section of the Yarra Trails, but they look to be a bit far from home, if that's the case.

Thanks man. Having worked in bikes shops on three continents, for over thirty years, I can can tell you without any worries, that I have NEVER...EVER, had a single Thomson product come back to me either broken, or for warranty. I've had to fix and send away every other dropper post known to man at one point or another and in the case of Reverbs, nearly all of them. Horrible product! But that's just a mechanics point of view. Customers love them...until they fail...then we fix them...and they love them again. The human psyche' isnt that clever.
