Skate Park - Berowra

Just a note to all the riders in the North, construction of a skate park at Berowra has begun, with completion expected in mid-late November. With this and Thornleigh going ahead it seems Hornsby is finally getting its act together.

Berowra Waters Road, Berowra Oval. However don't bother yet as it's just a big muddy hole in the ground.

cant wait till it's up, I dont live far away so I might just become a bit of a regular. I hope no-one starts acting like they own it though, lets keep this visitor friendly.

anyone have a groundmap? or like a plan or computerised version of the park?

Does anyone skate anymore? Hornsby council would have to do this now, me and my skater friends petitioned Hornsby council in 1988 for a skate park in Pennant Hills. The wheels sure do turn slowly. I was twelve then. I wish they'd just legalize some singletrack in penno park.

What are these parks at Thornleigh and Berowra going to be like compared to the one at St Ives??

Doesnt Castle Hill have a good one? The one at Cherrybrook isnt that popular with bikes is it?
