wont wear anything but Vans these days. Cant beat the slip ons, best shoe for my fixie, no other shoe has the grip, strength and can fit under the straps as well and i get massive amounts of grip on the DJ bike. And for $80 from the shops you cant complain about the price, even cheaper on Ebay.

supra sky low TUFF - the supra tuff range dont wear out at all cos they are super "tuff" leather. take a bit of wearing in to stretch a bit but solid grip on the sole and dont show much wear at all.

vans tnt's or half cabs are also good and suprisingly so are nike air max 1s and 90s - super good grip

Globe skate shoes have been great for me, but I grew out of them so lately I've been riding in Dunlop Volleys (lol) until I get down the shop to get some more Globes! I find because of the soft sole on the volleys the studs on the pedals makes your feet really sore.

ive got volleys, ive already shredded the soles after going riding about 4 times :/

converse all-stars are worse and more expensive.

id rate dc barce's as the best ive come across. comfy, supportive & strong
