Shimano splined rotors with Avids???

Is anybody running shimano splined rotors with Avid Juicys? Just wondering if the offset of a splined rotor and a 6-bolt rotor is the same?

afaik the offset should be the same

The only issue I'm aware of is with RT97 XTR rotors (the new five arm spider ones) and avid pads.

With this combination the aluminium spider hits the tab on the pads which means you'd have to trim the pad tab a bit to clear the spider.
