Seat post, pivotal, 30.9mm, slamable??

Fellow farkers, does such a beast exist?

Basically I'm looking for a seat post that's 30.9mm, accepts a pivotal seat and that I can slam.

Help...

This is the one MacNeil makes, doesn't look like you can get it very far down because of the taper... Maybe I'm wrong??

Do you know where I'll be able to get one?

i have a simalir seat post and it only sits up by like not even 2cm.
Try getting shims if you cant find the right post

yer i'm looking for a 30.9 pivotal post as well for my STP i dont mind what brand. Does anyone know where we can buy them?

you could get a 25.4 sized seatpost, and either buy a heap of shims to make it fit, or make your own

ABD do a pivotal post in 30.9 which will slam down to about 20mm short of the clamp surface. Unfortunately only in black, and dependent on the bike you may need to cut it down slightly for full slamming as its about 350mm long. I think they're about $40, available from Avanti/Specialized stockists.
