I decided to move my stumpy on after seeing this frame pop up in the for sale area. Pretty damn happy with how it has built up and had a rad first ride on it today. Going to be playing around with a few shock settings and will be sorted. Only planned upgrade down the track is to swap to some newer style XT brake levers. I've also finally got an entirely non-sram build which I'm pretty happy about.

Front brake - Shimano XT
Rear brake - Shimano XT
Cranks - Shimano XT w/34t Absolute Black oval ring
Chainguide - n/a
Chain - Shimano XT
Pedals - Shimano XT
Rear derailleur - Shimano XT
Rear shifter - Shimano XTR
Cassette - Shimano XT 11-42
Front hub - Hope Pro 2
Rear hub - Hope Pro 4

Looks really good, I just picked up one of these myself, it's running a Pike RCT3 up front which I am considering swapping out for a Fox 36 at some point.
It climbs really well, and is really playful but sturdy on the trail.

I'm still dialing in the shock settings, looking to put in some tokens in so I can run a lower pressure.
I put Saint brakes on, which may be a little overkill but with this bike I plan to try out some different parts compared to previous ones.

Definitely should have gone to specsavers
Yep, looks the shizz. SC make fine looking bikes...

Planning on some stealthier decals for the fork?

Edit: I spy that old stumpy carcass behind the front wheel too!

Nice one! I built mine up 6 or so months ago slowly getting out on it after munted knee.. The X2 Bronson combo is super fun.

I splashed out on some BC wheels that i saw on here, wallet is still recovering..

Enjoy the ride

Got around to putting on the new stickers, looks pretty cool in the sunlight. Also managed to tear the rear minion DHR II so it's been swapped back to an SS.
Packing it up tomorrow to ride Japan for a couple of weeks.

Updated photos in first post.

Black and silver looks fantastic!
Looks even better when the sunlight hits it, so happy with the silver they used in the vinyls, worked awesome.

NL Designs, the guy was pretty awesome, took the time to get into a lot of detail about what the colour would be and how metallic they'd be. He sent mock ups with measurements just to check everything. Ended up costing about $120.

No plans to, haven't heard anything about Trail Cutter. Some friends put me onto Paul at freeride adventures japan so we'll be spending time in Nagano and at Fujiten bike park.
