These are old pics of my 4x bike (dual slalom back then) from 2001-03. I think this is the best bike I've ever owned and wish I'd never sold it.

The THE fender was a tribute to Brian Lopes who ran one on his GT hard tail at the time.

i have a 2007 giant stp that i recently bought a few new parts for. basically stock with new seat, cassette, chain, chain ring + bolts and grips.

i have just striped the frame down of paint and am going to polish it up.


Yesterday i bought a Banshee amp frame from Darren at Barspin Imports which will soon to be my 4X rig as soon as i get a new wheel set.

Here's my 4X rig that I i've just finished building.

2009 Giant STP small (with Cyclecraft decals)
Society Xeno DJ 80mm forks
Saint derailer and shifter, SLX 175mm cranks
Chris King rear hub, Hope front hub laced to Sunn EQ27 rims
Easton 710mm bars and Truvativ 40mm stem.

and here's an old pic with Mavic Crossride wheels and Marzocchi DJ3 that were borrowed from another bike.

Agreed! Although this one is still in my shed . Still gets ridden quite a bit, I love it. Just gave it a wash and some new tires.
