All you fellas running brakes on black rims, how can i run them so that the paint wont come off. Clear pads?

I believe clear pads work best, however the reality is, if they're going to work well, it's gonna take the paint/annodizing off, cos the nature of how brakes work is friction, namely on your black surface.
