Nukeproof Critical brace-compatible armour - anyone know what it's like in the heat?

This is a Leatt brace compatible body armour, and it's about time I got a new one. It looks like it has a fabric base layer, rather than mesh, like my current 661 armour.
Of course it says it's breathable and wicks sweat, but these things are designed and ridden in Europe or North America usually. Just wondering if anyone has run it in Australian conditions and how hot it gets.

Nukeproof critical jacket in Australia

How did it go? I also run a 661 but not happy with the size/ protection offered. How is the fit i run a small 661 and it rides up constantly but is tight on the arms. I've been tossing up between the new poc vpd jacket or the Troy lee shock doctor. But now I've seen pictures of this is also in the equation
