i was just wondering:
has anyone riddin novatech hubs?
what do you think about them?
are they strong?
what is the retails price for the dh model?

i have them on my bike now, and i love them.
they are easy to take apart, clean, regrease and generally maintain. mine are sealed bearings too which makes things so much simpler. i must say too that i give my bike a hell of a beating and they havent thrown in the towel, and are still going strong.

Novatech make a large percentage of all hubs on the market, just rebranded. Same as Formula, really!

These roll off some huge Asian production line & get sold on under a variety of names - Tuff Neck & a few others. A few of us have run them & the rear hubs failed for 2 of us within a couple of years & weren't fixable - the pawl engagement ring that transmits torque to the hub shell is only a press fit & loosens up - it can't be repaired. I agree with Mr Trailnotrail otherwise, but we won't use them again.
