Feelin' a bit rrranty
Item: Nicolai Saturn 11, Large
Condition: Very good - structurally perfect, some cable rub in places, worst is where rear wheel flex has caused the tyres to rub through the anodising where the welds are at the top of the seat stays - visible in pictures.
Location: Melbourne, will post
Price: $1700ono
Reason: I was on the cusp size wise, and wanted something a bit shorter/more XC than this was with a 40mm stem
Extra:
Selling my large Nicolai Saturn 11 frame in black ano with blue "extra love" linkage.
The Saturn 11 is the 105mm travel frame, which can run a 110-130mm fork for XC/downcountry/trail depending on your preference. I had this built with a 120mm SID (see built pic for reference) and lightweight XC wheels for Yarra Trails etc duties. For reference, the complete bike was 12.5kg as pictured.
The frame is in perfect condition structurally, with no dings, nor any bearing play or roughness, but it does have some cosmetic marks from cable rub where the anodising has worn through to the aluminium beneath - note this poses no risk of corrosion or deterioration, Nicolai frames are built with 7020 alloy that is left entirely uncoated (i.e., no clear coat) on their raw finish frames.
Frame comes with axle, seat post clamp and chainstay guard (not pictured), as well as RockShox Monarch RT3 shock and Cane Creek Forty headset.
I'm in inner north Melbourne for inspection or collection, but can also box up and courier ar the buyer's expense. Price negotiable within reason.
