QLD Newbie Nirvana - XC races for beginners and novices

There are two more XC races scheduled for the series.
The races are being held at the Adare Homestead, 10mins drive north of Gatton (Gatton is an hour west of Brisbane).
I was at the first race held 25 October.
It was my first ever race and I was there with a whole bunch of other beginners - from young kids to those of us a little 'older'.
The vibe was relaxed and everyone had a great time.
The trails were easy and the support fantastic.

p.s. DON'T follow your GPS directions as the roads and highway off ramps have all changed.
Go to Gatton, turn into Old College Rd, and then turn at Allan St. Follow this north until the road turns to gravel and follow the 'Newbie' signs from there.

Final race of the series is on this weekend. Come along, even if it's for the first time. These events have been great fun with all ages attending and participating.

It's been pretty dry out there but it drains like a sieve after rain leaving a clean, grippy and fast trail.
