There's still a huge amount of fun riding to be had- you just need to be sure you're carrying/wearing warm gear & are prepared for conditions.

And I'm equally certain they'd be equally informative if you got in touch with the club directly through their website regarding winter recommendations & any trail closures etc. There's heaps of nearby public trails/mtb parks with Codgers being on the Nelson doorstep & also the Hira, Richmond Hill networks. All of them have some cool riding to be had if you're prepare to earn your turns.
