Whereabouts are you? Getting a helicoil (plenty of, BUT NOT ALL bike shops can do it for ya) only costs $30 or something... I had it done today, on my own drive-side Hussefelt, as a matter of fact.
ok i am in toowoomba but the bike stores here are full of people who wouldn't even know what pcd my crank arm was by looking at it ... so i don't know if i trust em to do it
