Mt Stromlo stage 3?

Hi Guys,

There was talk of adding additional Dh and XC trails and a skills area to Stromlo well over a year ago as part of a stage 3 plan, but i have not seen or heard anything since. I understand that the CORC guys have been very busy organising the World Cup round last year and the World Champs this year but just wanted to know if anyone has heard any rumours of when this might start and what was planned?

They have put on a few north shore type log things around the flat tracks at the bottom as a 'skills park' type thing, haven't heard of anything else that they are putting in. Word on the street is there might be a new track (not stromlo) being built, but not sure how likely it is.

there is a master planning exercise that is about to start and from there we will identify future growth area and the development of the park as a whole.

Stage 3, expansion into block 12, connections to the arboretum, the Murrumbidgee and a loop around the cotter dam are all on the cards.
