marzocchi fork steer tube size

Hi, I'm considering getting a pair of 2012 Marzocchi 44 RLO forks. I've been searching online, but can't seem to find out what size the steer tube is. I need 1 1/8". The description also says it has a Steer tube-wheel offset: 44mm. What does this mean?
Any help appreciated

The 44 RLO is 28.6mm (1 1/8") steerer tube.....

If a steerer is 1.5" or Tapered 1.5" - 1 1/8" it will be stated

If it just states ALUMINUM STEER TUBE this means it's standard 1 1/8"
