Lightweight UST tyres?

Hi all,

Just wondering what people would recommend / use for lightweight tubeless XC tyres for medium / hard surfaces?

I use and recommend Maxxis Larsen TT's in a 2.0.
Nice, light UST tyre, and grips really nice on hard packed surfaces

Is weight your main concern? Schwalbe Furious Fred = 425 grams for the tubeless version. :eek: Schwalbe says "Warning! To anyone who wants everything. Furious Fred is the fastest MTB tire - Ever! But be aware: It is not an allrounder. Grip is limited and risk of puncturing is high."

I like my UST Monorails. They're a lot heavier tho .. the first puncture I noticed since installing them 4 months ago was yesterday, on the road riding home in the rain from Tour of Sparrow Hill. Fingernail sized piece of glass in the tyre, but the Stan's in them fixed it in 10-20 seconds. :cool:
