kona downhill

hi a was just wondering if kona dj frames are strong enough for downhill because there really over-built and look strong?

DJ bikes look horrible with triples, no matter what make (Kona, Norco etc.), but as for the Norco freeride hardtail range...woah, they look amazing with triples.

Holy fuck no way :rolleyes:......Thats mostly because they are not made to take that lenght travel. If you are stupid enough to put tripples on a HT you do deserve every little bit of cracked frame/forks that might up inside you WHEN your bike starts catostrophically fail.

You can do it easy also fit a shorter travle triple clamp
Umm im taking it you didnt just read the above replies.

Triple clamps are a big NO on DJ bikes.

But yes, you can start DH on the hardtail, a single crown fork with 120-160mm travel should be fine.
