no more "ride days"

We are sick of putting in heaps of effort for ride days... If you want to come and ride let us know and you can have the hill. It will be $25 p/p p/day with shuttles provided or $20 byo shuttles.. (this goes directly to paying the rates so we are not in this to get rich).. 4wd is needed but we have a shuttle trailer you can make use of if you dont have a ute. The trail length is about 3 1/2 kms and there are a few trails that run from top to bottom. The shuttle turn around is the quickest I have seen in Qld with the 4wd beating the riders down on occasions. It is on private property. about 1hr 45 north of Brisbane. as it states above please email us to book .... come and rip it while its not too hot.

awesome, dont be disheartened from early attempts at ride days. as far as im aware alot of ppl didnt realise that the open days were on. looks like 2 weeks after states is going to be going ahead, how does kandanga fair with rain? not like kenilworth is it? will shoot you a pm next week with numbers and the day we will come up. thanks for doing something for the sport here in qld

rain...rain... its ok

the trail is still rideable in the wet... at least two thirds of it is . the forest sections turn to thick black glue that sticks to your tyres then flies off into your face... you have to carry pace over the slippery mossy rocks to stop the black forest soil sticking to your tyres...rideable but a bit sketchy... but you can just shuttle 2 thirds of the way up...starting from the bottom of the forest section (still gives a 2 1/2 to 3 min run...) the trail is well built and holds up to abuse in the wet no problem... rain should not be a problem.. this is Queensland (beautiful one day perfect the next..) unless its flooding or there is a race scheduled at Kenilworth.
we are good to go for 2 weeks after the states...BRING IT ON!!!!!!
