Hi All

Just went for a ride in the most unlikely place that is so close to a big city.HK has some good xc/dh riding and has a small jump park. I rode near the Gold Coast region of HK which took me about 25mins from the city. but there are other locations to ride in their country parks.
I hooked up with Steve Coward from Crosscountry HK LTD www.crosscountryhk.com.
It cost me HK$890 helmet gloves and giant anthem bikes. Local knowledge helps as there are tracks all over the place some legal some not.

Better than walking around the shops all day, just be prepared for hot humid weather and rain depending on when you go. Still lots of fun in the rain :)

I was in HK 2 1/2 years ago but only for 4 days. I just knew there had to be something out there as the terrain is jaw-dropping. Must go back. You're right about the crushing humidity, though.
