I have a Giro Mad Max that is three years old. It has some small marks on it but no chips or large scratches. My head isn't small either so I can recommend it. It is black, grey and silver, looks good. The padding is perfect and very comfortable. I upgraded a few months after I bought it because I couldn't resist the bargain I was offered. $100 including postage to Newcastle........
