Gday,
Im looking to paint my Giro mad max II helmet, it's pretty scratched up.
It has one of those pathetically small, lame-looking visors on it though, and i was wondering if it was possible for me to buy a THE or TLD replacement visor(One of each happens to come in a colour similar to the colour im painting the helmet) and bolt it onto my giro helmet?
I understand the helmet may be thinner/thicker than a TLD/THE but i really like the length and style of visor from these two brands and i thought maybe if i bolted it on i could squish it slowly or bend it slightly on to align with my visor mounts?
There pretty cheap to buy so i just thought it was worth giving it a go, does anyone have any idea if this is possible to do?
Also, where can i buy trim for my helmet? Im thinking its a hell of alot easier to remove the existing trim and buy some more.
