This is my wife's Specialized Fate. It's an expert frame with comp spec.
I/we have changed;
Bars. Answer pro taper carbon
Grips. Crank Brothers cobalt foam gold
Seat post. Crank Brothers cobalt 11 carbon
Brakes. XT just perfect brakes
Chain. KMC X10SL gold
Pedals. XT
Bling, Ti gold bolts for stem and rotors. Gold head stem spacer and cap. Gold crank bolts and valve caps.
Weight is 10.6kg as ridden. Still running tubes.
My wife is just starting out so the Fate is hitting mostly bike paths and the odd rail trail at the moment. It's quite a light frame and could easily be under 10kg.
Thanks to Fitzroy Revolution for putting it together. Wife loves it.
