If that bmc is still for sale don't fuck around, go and get it right now.
Even if you snap it after a while you have parts for another build.
Believe me, a lot of xc bikes can take more than people think, unless it's a giant anthem. If you even look at a photo of one the actual bike snaps.
Shame you weren't around when my last bike went up, would of suited you fine
