My local bike shop won't be getting Giro helmets in because they have to buy a minimum of $2000 (wholesale price) worth of helmets. Apparently there are only 2 models available as well, the Animas and E2. Not sure about full face models.

Oh, and the prices have gone up too. :roll:

Yep, that min order thing is the same reason we probably won't be stocking them. Bell should do it for us.

i read this fax from bicycle authourity who bring in GT, bell and other things, the fax was for all dealers and it stated that the helmet would not be avialable, they have made the reps who sold the product redundant, and yeah, that sucks, no bell lids.... uh oh! has anybody else heard bout this??? :?

Um, I reckon that fax might be a little old. The authority lost Bell/Giro a while ago, that's why supply has been non-existant for the last few months.
