Getting back into it, after 2 years

Adi

It's my birthday!
Howdy ho everybody!

It's nice to be getting back into mountainbiking again after a lengthy break! It's equally nice to see that many of the older farkin members are still around as I was looking over the forums - LTR, S. and many others that I am sure are still around that I can not remember off the top of my head, - good days!

Oh yeah, I used to be known around here as Calculus/DropinAdin and probably a few other names, and yea, I had it changed again :D. Don't worry though, I am not back here to postwhore ;)

Anyways here is my old old bike, the thing that is probably worth the most on it is the Farkin.net sticker on the other side of the forks!

And this is what I have spent all my savings on to get :D

As for my next mountainbike I am looking at getting perhaps a Norco A-Line or maybe a Norco Rampage.

Take care fellas

Specs on the P.3 are

2001 P3 frame
SMO Rims (don't EVER buy these :D)
Aireal 20mm hub at front, and 9mm hub rear with quick release
Liquid 3pce cranks
A seat which I purchased from LTR from ages ago :p
2001 Psylos (not much oil left in them)
FSA headset
Rear v brake

That's about it!

Ah, the old P3.
Good to see the bottlecap spokey dokes still cranking.
Along with the Avid lever and LX vee brake.
Those Psylos still scare me silly just looking at them though...
Post up a weight!
Good to see you back riding again.
I might have to follow your lead and start browsing farkin again now, after what is probably about 2 years!
Once I have something rideable we will have to head out somewhere.
Oh, and the Gixxer looks reaaaal nice as well :)
Rex.

how much are looking to spend on an A-line?
I can't exactly remember what the local shops quoted me but I think they said something like $4,000 for an A-line park or around $3600 for a A-line

The Specialized Big Hit FSR III look good but no bikeshops can get them in for some reason :\
