Fox vanilla 2006 internals in 2005 chassis.

Does anyone know if Fox Vanilla 2006 internals go in a 2005 chassis?

Specifically, the stantions and bushings in my 2006 RLC's are stuffed, and there are some 2005 Vanilla R's around for a good price. I'm not fussed about the spring side, but I'd like to put in the better damping cartridge. I also run a heavier spring that I'd like to swap. So, is it possible?

I have read elsewhere that what you want to do will not be a problem.

The 2005 and 2006 are the same basic fork and the internals were no different.

It was only the 07 that they made a couple of changes that will not allow you to do this.

05 vanilla at a cheap price sounds like a good plan.

Your best bet would be to ring fox and ask about all of the sizes.
