Hey all

I have a 2012 specialized camber 29 alloy model.

Im saving up for a carbon wheel set,but want to look into a fork upgrade.
Its running stock Fox float 29.
So a couple of questions would be,what would a good upgrade be? and what diffence will i feel?
I have a fair bit of flex atm when pushing hard.

Cheers guys

Forget the upgrade. You are blinded by bling.

Get the thing fully serviced if it hasn't been already - try TBSM. It'll cost but it'll come back far better. There may also be a some warranty upgrades available too.

As for the flex...I'll wager that's either a flexy front wheel (get it tightened up) or a rubbish QR (replace with something that works).

Forgive me for saying but I think that carbon wheels on the Camber could be a case of silk purse on sows ear...rather than a good bang for buck proposition.

Fair point well made lol.

But they have been serviced, and I like spending money on bike shit.
What's the point working else?

Considered a smaller wheeled machine with 20mm front axle ? That would get rid of cash and flex in one go !
