feckin cranks these days

I used to think i was pretty savvy finding bike parts, but it seems like I'm not any more!
I want a set of cranks to fit a 68/73mm threaded bottom bracket.
Can take boost or non-boost (boost means i have an excuse for a new frame)
Something that fits the existing 24mm axle and a 104bcd chainring would be good, but I'm happy to buy a new set up
I'd like it to be trail level lightness. The lighter, the better though.

What should i look for? I was thinking something that is XT equivalent, but doesn't require a bunch or proprietary parts.

Yep. have been running a 12sp shimano ring with 11sp drivetrain for a little while now with no issues.

Just a question on those cranks, since when is a non-boost chain line 52mm?
I've seen a number of references that they will do both? I just don't see how.

Racface Aefect or Aefect R. 24mm spindle and can take DM, 104bcd or boost 104bcd spider via the Cinch system.
